Each pair of electrodes counts as one linear foot in overall footage calculation.

All transformers need to be grounded properly

All transformers should be loaded property and operation at 80% of their rated 
short circuit mA current capacity.

Ensure your transformer is well ventilated.  If the transformer is 
mounted in a fireproof box, make sure one side of the transformer is making full contact with one 
side of the box.

Do not use a Core and Coil Transformer that is too large for the amount of neon footage that 
you are lighting, the transformer will run very hot and eventually develop problems.

For tubing 10mm in diameter or smaller , a 20mA current level is recommend.
